We had tickets to go see Jean Shepherd’s A Christmas Story, over at Actor’s Theater this weekend. This has always been one of my favorite holiday movies. Peter Billingsley who plays Ralphie strongly resembles my older brother, Norman when he was that age. In fact other kids once called my youngest son Ralphie because of the family resemblance to the character.
The Actor’s Theater productions was impressive if not a little over the top. They did manage to stage the major scenes from the pink Bunny suit to the visit to Santa and stay true true to the film version.
